[0:00] I greet you in the name of Jesus this morning.! It is good to be here. I believe the Lord has a word for us today. [0:12] ! He will be faithful. [0:32] But if we forsake him, he will allow us to go. But this morning, yes, it is good to be here. [0:46] And I want to, well, we'll start with, do you know what day today is? I want to look a little bit at, at this day in history. [1:10] It's been a very special day. But, so, at the Passover time, Moses was commanded. [1:25] God commanded Moses. He said, now you take, so the Sunday after Passover, resurrection morning, was the Feast of Firstfruits that day. [1:40] Then God said, you take seven Sabbaths after the Passover. It's a festival of weeks, and there's a couple different names for it. [1:52] But then, on the next day after the seventh Sabbath, is a day that God came down on that mountain, and met Moses, and brought the law. [2:11] And it was known as the Feast of Pentecost. And today, is that day, is seven weeks after Easter. You know, in the Old Testament, when this was established, God brought the law to his people. [2:40] But in the New Testament, on the day of Pentecost, the Holy Ghost came, and that law, is written in our hearts. [2:52] The law of God, written in our hearts, that we might keep it. We all know that, humanity failed. [3:04] The children of Israel failed, in keeping that law. But today, we, as the people of God, with the Spirit of God, in our hearts, and allowing him to write that law, in our hearts, we can live a life, pleasing to God. [3:22] I want to look, somewhat, we will be continuing on, with where we left off. [3:35] You know, not necessarily, but kind of last Sunday. Last Sunday, we looked at, being seated with Christ, in heavenly places. And how is it, how are we seated with him? [3:49] And we will be, looking further at that, somewhat today. I believe it is as, we are in him, we are in Christ. [4:03] And, and, we are full of the Holy Ghost. And you know, we, you cannot separate, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, or God the Father. [4:15] Father, we have, we serve one God, but there's three, distinct, manifestations of him. But when we, when we talk, about Jesus, and we talk about the Holy Ghost, you can never separate, the two. [4:37] But yet, there is a difference, and the Holy Ghost, dwells within us. He is the comforter, that Jesus promised. Jesus promised him, before he left, he promised the comforter, to the disciples. [4:54] And on the day of Pentecost, in that message, that Peter preached, you know, and we'll, we'll just pick out a few verses here, we won't go through this whole, but in, in chapter two of Acts, in verse 33, Peter said, he had explained to them, Jesus, and, and, and all of that, and how they had crucified, the Son of God. [5:23] And then, verse 32, this Jesus, has God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore, being by the right hand of God, exalted, and having received of the Father, the promise of the Holy Ghost, he has shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. [5:49] Jesus had said, that when he ascends to the Father, and, and, and when he is there, then, then he will send the comforter, and Peter, preaching this sermon to them, he said, this is what you see here today, is Jesus is now exalted, at the right hand of the Father, and because Jesus is now there, he has sent the Spirit down, to, to be with us, and, and to work through us, to dwell within us, and to lead us, and guide us. [6:31] And he went on, they were pricked in their hearts, and they said, men and brethren, what shall we do? And Peter said unto them, repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive, the gift of the Holy Ghost, for the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord, our God shall call. [7:07] And let me say, this promise includes us, this verse includes us today. He told them there that day, if they will repent, and be baptized, and acknowledge that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, he will forgive their sins, and this promise of the Spirit, is for you, and to all believers, down through the ages, including us. [7:45] The promise is for us today. And as we go on, we will be looking at, some of the things, that hinder the Spirit, in our life. [7:59] You know, there's many, many false doctrines, false teachings out. I believe that, more than anything, if we lack, in the power of the Spirit of God, if we lack, in this promise, there's a reason, there's a hindrance, in our heart. [8:30] There's, there's things, that are, that are not the way, they should be. And we'll look at some of that, as we continue on. But Jesus had promised them, and we'll just look here, in Acts 1. [8:46] He told them, to wait for the promise, of the Father. And he said, ye shall be baptized, with the Holy Ghost, not many days hence. And, this is what Peter, you know, Jesus had promised them, the comforter, and he had, he had told them, that once he is, at the right hand of the Father, the comforter will come. [9:10] And that's what he was referring to. But now, let's read this verse, that Jesus said. And it is, one that we all know, I believe, I hope. [9:25] In verse 8, but ye shall receive power. After that, the Holy Ghost, is come upon you. And ye shall be witnesses, unto me, both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost, part of the earth. [9:44] ye shall receive power. Today, you know, if, if we lack in power, it's not Jesus' fault. [9:57] But, but the, the fault is always with humanity. And, and we'll be looking at some of that, as we continue on. [10:09] Jesus, at the right hand of the, of God, exalted. And, and, now I want to look at, how this, worked out, in the disciples' lives. [10:25] You know, we, we, we read a little bit about the day of Pentecost, and, and how, how, Peter preached, and, and, and, and all of that. [10:38] and he reminded them, he told them, that, that what they are seeing, is a fulfillment of the prophecy, that, that is written in the book of Joel, that the prophet Joel had spoken about, the spirit of God being poured out. [10:56] And, you know, we, we heard this morning about, um, that prophet, that prophesied there, when, when, when Israel was in a, in a bad way, and the enemy was coming against them. [11:12] You know, the spirit of God came upon that man. And that's how it was in the Old Testament. The spirit of God would come upon certain men. [11:24] They were, they were the chosen ones that God called to be prophets, or whatever he called them for. And the spirit of God would come upon them. [11:36] But in the prophecy in Joel, it says that, that he will pour out his spirit upon all, upon all, not just, not just one or two here today, but he, the spirit of God is for all of us. [11:52] He's for all of us. And if we are born again, we have the spirit of God in a measure, but are we, are we full of power of the Holy Ghost? [12:05] Is, I guess the question this morning. Well, in chapter three, we have Peter and John. And they were going up to the temple in the hour of prayer. [12:16] And there was this lame man, a man lame from his mother's womb. And, you know, thinking about this, I thought, well, I mean, it's not long since Jesus was here. [12:28] Where was this man when Jesus was there healing all the sick and the lame and, and those, uh, with devils and all of that. [12:40] We don't know, but we know that he was there this day, sitting there at the gate, asking alms. [12:55] And Peter, in verse four, fastening his eyes upon him with John said, look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. [13:11] Then Peter said, silver and gold have I none, but such as I have, give I thee. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. [13:27] And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up. And immediately his feet and ankle bones received sight. And he leaping up, stood and walked and entered with them into the temple, walking and leaping and praising God. [13:44] And all the people saw him walking and praising God. And they knew that it was he, which had sat for alms at the beautiful gate of the temple. And they were filled with wonder and amazement of that, which had happened unto him. [14:03] Now notice, notice what Peter said here. Peter said, such as I have, such as I have. [14:16] And I think this morning, I want to, this is one of the challenges I want to bring to us today, is what do we have? Here in America, we have silver and gold, but that's, that's the, the treasures of this world. [14:35] Do we have the true riches? Do we have the Holy Ghost in our hearts like Peter did? That he could say that day, such as I have, give I thee. [14:47] And what happened? He brought the power of our Lord Jesus into that, into that lame man. And he was healed in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. [15:02] You know, Peter didn't say, Oh, I got the baptism of the Holy Ghost. I'll heal you. You know, isn't that one of the things we hear in our day? Maybe not in those words, but almost. [15:15] No, Peter said, in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus. And it is in that name that we are victorious. It is in that name that we do the work of God. [15:28] It is in the name of Jesus that we can conquer the enemy. It is in the name of Jesus that we can heal the sick. It is in the name of Jesus that we overcome. [15:41] Whatever the enemy brings against us. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. You know, Peter made sure, and he made it plain to those people that day, that it is not in my name, nor in John's name or anyone else, but it is in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. [16:06] Yes, the one you just crucified here not long ago. It's in his name that I heal this man. And I, yes, amen, hallelujah. [16:18] And it is only in the name of Jesus that we will be effective in the kingdom of God. you know, it wasn't long. [16:36] It wasn't long. Peter and John were being questioned. They were being questioned. But here, okay, let's just look, let's continue on a little bit here. [16:51] So the people came and they were wondering and asking questions and all of that. And then, Peter started preaching to them. [17:05] And he said that this one that you denied, he is the one. And in verse 16, and his name through faith in his name has made this man strong, whom ye see and know. [17:24] Yea, the faith which is by him has given this, has given him this perfect soundness. In the presence of you all. [17:38] You know, I just love that. That phrase, perfect soundness. You know, when we, are you perfectly sound today? [17:52] You can be. We can be. And it is only through Jesus Christ. It is only through him. [18:05] You know, what is that verse? He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Yes. [18:18] Well, it wasn't long and they were brought before the Sadducees and the priests and the rulers of the people and they were called to question. [18:33] And the question was this in chapter 4, verse 7, by what power or by what name have ye done this? [18:45] Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, ye rulers of the people and elders of Israel, if we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man by what means he is made whole, be it known unto you all and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doeth this man stand here before you whole. [19:25] Oh, hallelujah. It is only in the name of Jesus. But it is by the name of Jesus. And we have this right. [19:38] We have this name. We have this name. This is the stone which was set at naught of you builders, which has become the head of the corner. [19:49] Neither is there salvation in any other. There is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. [20:02] You know, and I want to go back. We heard some of this recently when when Phil was here. in John, in the book of John, we'll just be picking out some verses here. [20:24] But as we as we continue on looking at the name of Jesus in John chapter 16 and verse 33, 33, and how does this work out? [20:41] How does this work in our life today? We'll just, yes, we'll just cut in in the middle here in verse 33, and in that day you shall ask me not, verily, verily, I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. [21:17] Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name, ask and ye shall receive that your joy may be full. Ask. [21:32] Ask how? Ask in the name of Jesus, trusting in him. Are we, you know, and let's, there's another, there's another one here. [21:56] John 17, let's read this yet before we, and we'll tie them together. John 17, 21. That they all may be one as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that thou has sent me, and the glory which thou gavest me I have given them, that they may be one even as we are one. [22:32] I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one, that the world may know that thou has sent me and has loved them as thou has loved me. [22:47] You know, if we are one with Christ, if we are one with Christ, Jesus said here, and this was his prayer for us today, Father, that they all may be one, and that as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, and that they also may be one in us. [23:19] You know, if we are one in him, he is in us, we are in him, we are seated with him in heavenly places. Why? Because we are bought by the blood of Jesus, and we are filled with the Holy Ghost, and now we are one with him. [23:39] We are one with him. And when we pray, when we pray, and we come to him in the name of Jesus, in faith believing, our prayers will be answered. [24:02] If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit, so shall ye be my disciples. [24:19] the key is to abide in him, and to be full of him, to be full of Jesus. [24:32] Are we filling ourselves with the word of God? You know, I remember one time a man, he said, you know, he was struggling, he was struggling, and he was seeking, and I asked him, well, how is it with you? [24:54] Are you filling yourself with the word of God? I mean, why would God fill you with his spirit if you can't fill yourself with the word? And he said, well, yeah, but when I sit down to read, I just struggle concentrating, and so on, and I know that happens to all of us, it happens to me, but can we battle through, can we, can we continue reading, and go back and read it again, and block out all the things of this life, and all the things that want to steal away the word of God, and fill ourselves with the word of God? [25:36] David said, thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee, but can we, are we filling ourselves with the word of God? [25:48] Are we one with our Lord Jesus? If we are one with him, if we are one with him, hallelujah, he wants us to ask in faith, believing. [26:10] you know, here in chapter 14, no, it's in 16, I went back too far, he said, hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name. [26:30] Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name. Let me ask you, are we asking in the name of Jesus? I know we tack that on the end of every prayer we pray, but is it really, truly in the name of Jesus? [26:52] Do we recognize him as our redeemer? We sang that song, I believe, this morning, but he is our redeemer, and he is able to redeem all situations, he is able to redeem us to the uttermost, he is able to redeem us, and when we come to him in prayer, we come to him in faith believing, hallelujah, you know, in the book of James, it says, ye have not because ye ask not. [27:30] not. You have not because you ask not. Jesus said, hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name, ask and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. [27:53] And then James goes on and he says, you ask, but you ask amiss. You receive not because you ask amiss. [28:06] You ask to consume it on your own loss. You ask that you might be puffed up, that you ask for your own gain, for your own, to lift up your posture among men. [28:23] You ask for the wrong reasons. Jesus said, that my Father may be glorified. [28:39] That must be the goal of our life, is to glorify the Father. Jesus said, all mine are thine, talking to the Father in prayer. [29:05] All mine are thine, so if we belong to Jesus, we belong to God, and thine are mine. What belongs to God, belongs to Jesus. [29:16] And he said, I am glorified in them. Is Jesus being glorified by our life today? Are we bringing fruit? [29:28] He said, that is how the Father will be glorified, that we bring forth much fruit. you have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that you should go forth and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. [29:57] You know, can we believe the word that Jesus said? That he desires to give us whatsoever we ask. [30:10] He hears our cry, he hears our prayer. Will we come to him in faith and believe? Oh, I know, we pray for people and, you know, they have to make their own decision. [30:27] We can't make that decision for them, but there's many things that when we pray, we can know, we can know that God will hear and he will answer, he will work by his spirit, yes. [30:45] Oh, hallelujah. We are one with Christ and the Father. The Holy Spirit will always glorify Christ. [30:59] He will never glorify himself. He will never, he will never, he will never lift up himself, but he will always glorify the Father. [31:14] He will always glorify the Lord Jesus. Now, let's read those verses here in John 16. John 16. verse 13. [31:34] How be it when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth. For he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak, and he will show you things to come. [31:53] He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine, therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and show it unto you. [32:12] You know, all the riches of glory belong to our Lord Jesus, and they are our inheritance, and he has given us the Holy Ghost as the down payment of our inheritance, and so, what we need, we need grace, we need power, we need wisdom, we need healing, whatever we need, he can meet that need, because there's no lack in glory, and he says here that the Spirit of God will bring what belongs to him, will bring to us, yes, but he expects us to ask in faith in the name of Jesus. [33:08] Are we seated with Christ in heavenly places? I believe I believe that power, the power of the Spirit of God, it comes when we are in that position, when we are seated with Christ, remember Jesus, he is seated far above all principality and power and might, and every dominion, and every name that is named, and at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow, and every tongue confess, and the principalities and powers are defeated by the name of Jesus, sickness is defeated by the name of Jesus, Jesus is above all, he is above all, and as we are seated with him in heavenly places, we can be above all the trials and the temptations of this life, not that we will avoid them necessarily, but we can be victorious in them and through them, yes, sometimes they do affect us, [34:38] I acknowledge that, that's one reason I requested a prayer meeting, I asked if some brothers could come and we could pray last night, I felt that need to overcome, that's why we have a brotherhood, that's why it's so important for us to stand together and to face the enemy together, together, in Acts 5 verse 32, the apostle said, the Holy Ghost whom God has given to them that obey him, you know, if we do not obey our Lord [35:39] Jesus, if we do not believe, if we do not obey this word, we cannot expect that the Spirit of God will work in us and through us and bring the power of heaven into our life, you know, Hebrews talks about this power and it says that this is the power of the world succumb, you know, the power of the Holy Ghost and the believer is not an earthly power, it is a heavenly power and it is a power of the next world, but it is our down payment in this world, let us, let us enter in and walk in this power, yes, no flesh can stand in the presence of our holy God, God resists the proud, but he gives grace to the humble, proud flesh will never be endued with the power of the Holy [36:52] Ghost, are we filled with all the fullness of God, oh my Ephesians, let's see how much time we have to get to some of these verses, Jesus, the Spirit is given to them that obey him, the Spirit will only go where the blood of Jesus has been, you know, if there's sin in our life, if there's something we're holding back, if there's something we're not willing to put on the altar and allow the fire of God to burn it up, we cannot expect the Spirit of God to come and to empower us. [37:40] I want to look at 2 Corinthians chapter 6. We are the temple of the living God. [38:01] we are that temple. Are you a clean temple? Or are you compromised? [38:14] You know, Timothy talks about talks about separating ourselves from those things that defile. [38:26] But here, let's first look at this. He admonishes us. 2 Corinthians 6, verse 14. He says, Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers. [38:38] For what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? What communion hath light with darkness? What concord hath Christ with Belial? [38:51] What part hath he that believeth with an infidel? What agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God. [39:01] As God has said, I will dwell in them and walk in them and I will be their God and they shall be my people. Wherefore, come out from among them and be separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you and will be a father unto you and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. [39:30] We are the temple of the living God and he expects us to not allow that temple to be compromised. You'll remember, what was it in Nehemiah's day? [39:45] You know, there was, what was the guy's name that was there? He was one of the priests there in the temple and and he had given a room there in the temple to the enemy of God. [39:58] And when Nehemiah found out, he went in there and he cleansed the temple and he threw out all Tobias stuff. He threw it out. He got rid of it. [40:10] You know, we must do the same. If there's anything in our temple that is defiling us, if there's anything that we're not willing to give up, we must get rid of it. [40:22] the temple of God, it must be clean and pure. Be not unequally yoked. [40:36] We must walk. You know, sometimes, you know, we're out on the job. We go to town. We, you know, and yes, even on your gadgets, there will be things that will defile, but you must get rid of it and cleanse your temple. [40:59] There's things that maybe do not defile, but they hinder, they steal time. We must get rid of them. [41:10] We must guard our heart. like it says in Proverbs, guard your heart, for out of it come the issues of life. In our day, it is so easy, it is so easy to let our guards down and to allow that defilement of this, of this terrible world to come in. [41:37] Revelation talks about, about the enemy. He just send a flood. And I believe we're in that day when that flood of the enemy, all the filth and the garbage on the internet, all of it, it just wants to overwhelm us. [41:57] But we must, we must guard our heart. We must cut it off. We must cut off those things that defile. [42:09] We must cut off those things that steal, those things that hinder us, those things that bring a complacent lifestyle, a casual lifestyle. You know, it's a thing of our day. [42:23] Oh, but, you know, so-and-so is a Christian. He doesn't live like you. Oh, he goes wherever, to the movies or wherever, and he's a Christian. [42:35] He doesn't live like those things that defile. They will influence you, and they will keep you from fulfilling the will of God. [42:51] I want to read those verses in Timothy that I referred to. 2 Timothy 2, verse 19, Nevertheless, the foundation of God standeth sure. [43:14] And just before this, he was talking about men who had erred, and they were into false doctrine, and they were overthrowing the faith of some. You know, it doesn't matter. [43:26] It doesn't matter how much false doctrine is out there. It doesn't matter. It doesn't, you know, what comes against us, and all of that. We have a firm foundation that we can stand on. [43:42] And the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are His. and let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. [43:59] Depart from iniquity. You know, do not flirt with the world. Do not flirt with the things of this world. They will catch you. Satan is a sly, sly deceiver. [44:14] Yes, he is. Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ, depart from iniquity. But in a great house, in the kingdom of God, in the church of God, oh my, but in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth, and some to honor and some to dishonor. [44:39] If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified and meat for the master's use and prepared unto every good work. [44:56] Flee also youthful lusts, but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. [45:07] Hallelujah. But he admonishes us. Says, if a man will purge himself from these, if we will purge ourselves from those things that defile, from those things that do not build the kingdom of God, from those things that they just draw us aside, they steal our time, they steal the life of Christ from us. [45:39] We must separate ourselves, we must lay them aside. He says, if we will purge ourselves from these, then we can be a vessel unto honor and sanctified and meat for the master's use and prepared unto every good work. [46:00] You know, what are we living for? Do we want to, do we desire to be useful in the kingdom of God? or do we just want to, do we just want to live our life for ourselves and, and we're, yeah, we're saved and that's good. [46:23] Or do we love our Lord Jesus and we want to live our life for him and be effective in the kingdom of God? He says, if we will lay aside those things that are worthless, you know, there's a, believe it's in Corinthians, it talks about our works being tried by fire and here he talks about vessels of gold and silver, but also vessels of wood and earth and some to honor and some to dishonor, the things of wood and of earth, they will not stand the test of fire. [47:04] Someday our works will be tried by that test. Sanctified and meet for the master's use. [47:18] That's what he wants. That's what he is after in our lives. Back in Corinthians, we are the temple of the living God. [47:33] Another place says that if any man defile the temple of God, he will God destroy. You know, if we expect the Holy Ghost to live within us, then we must live our life that way. [47:54] If we live an unholy life, he won't be there. There. we are the temple of the living God. [48:11] Is God alive to you today? Or is he just someone we talk about? As God has said, I will dwell in them and walk in them and I will be their God. [48:30] They shall be my people. You know, the Holy Ghost dwells within us and he teaches us. If he is our God, then he will, like we heard when Phil was here, he used this phrase many times, governed by the Holy Ghost, governed by the Spirit of God. [48:54] are you governed by the Spirit of God? That's what he wants. That is his desire. He will gladly be our God if we will let him. [49:17] Wherefore, come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you. [49:30] The unclean thing. You know, there's so many things, there's so many things that will defile us and we must guard our heart against that defilement. [49:50] Chapter 7, verse 1. Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. [50:17] Let us cleanse ourselves cleanse ourselves. You know, the spirit will bring a flag whenever those things come along. [50:36] Whenever you, you know, if you're governed by the spirit, when you're on your gadget and you're going through and you say, oh, wait a minute, not that. [50:49] Oh, that's enough, that you've spent enough time, it's time to get into the word now. Cleanse ourselves of all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. [51:09] I believe today in our day, this is one thing that is very, very lacking, is the fear of God in his people. [51:28] The fear of God. And some of that, I believe, has come because of false doctrine that is so rampant in our day. [51:53] Let's turn to Ephesians yet, in closing here. Get a look at this yet. [52:04] Let's look at there's so much more. [52:18] Being one with Christ, Galatians 4, 6 says, and because ye are sons, God has sent forth the spirit of his son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. [52:33] Romans 8, 16, the spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God. Do we have that Holy Spirit in us? [52:54] Well, here we have in Ephesians chapter 3, we have again the Apostle Paul writing and giving his prayer for the people of God. [53:13] And verse 16, that he would grant, that God would grant you according to the riches of his glory to be strengthened with might by his spirit in the inner man. [53:31] You know, these things are things that are available to us. to be strengthened with the might of his spirit, the infinite spirit of God, the infinite riches of glory. [53:57] He says, according to the riches of his glory. You know, the riches of glory, they're unlimited. They're unlimited. that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith. [54:15] They being rooted and grounded in love. Are we rooted and grounded in love? Does Christ dwell in our hearts by faith that we may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge. [54:47] You know, the love of Christ, it's more than we can comprehend. end. It passes our human knowledge but we can get a glimpse of it. [55:04] It is revealed to us by his spirit. God then he says that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. [55:15] You know, if we are at one, if we are one in Christ and Christ is one with God, we are at one with our Lord and Savior and with God our Father. [55:29] That we might be filled with all the fullness of God. all the riches of glory in Christ Jesus. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages world without end. [55:57] Amen. He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. [56:10] Remember you have not because you ask not. You ask but you ask amiss. You know let us let us check our hearts where are we at? [56:29] He wants us to ask He invites us to ask are there hindrances? [56:43] Are we asking? Our God is able to do more than we can imagine. [56:57] You know we we can think a lot of things we can imagine a lot of things but our God is greater than all of that. But what limits him? [57:14] It's our unbelief. unbelief. It's you know there's a lot of hindrances. There's ignorance but hopefully we're not as ignorant as we were and we're growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus. [57:36] But unbelief is a big thing. Unconfessed sin will hinder and will block the spirit of God. [57:49] Unforgiveness or any occult involvement or things that we have allowed of the kingdom of darkness in our life. [58:04] Or like Corinthians said to not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. [58:18] Not allow the things of the other kingdom. Not be yoked to things of the other kingdom. You know the Holy Ghost will not walk in tandem with a wrong spirit. [58:33] No. No. there's many things but the desire of God is right here. [58:49] I believe Paul was praying God's desire that we would know the love of Christ which passes knowledge that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. [59:08] That is his desire. It is a possibility in our day. And let us press on for the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. [59:34] Let's pray. Heavenly Father we come to you today in the name of Jesus and Lord I pray Lord that if there's any hindrances in our heart whatever there might be is it unbelief is it sin is it ignorance is it unequal yoke whatever it might be Lord put your finger upon it and reveal it today and help us to cast it aside Lord that we can be filled with all the fullness of God today filled with the Holy Ghost filled with your love filled with your power filled by the Spirit of God Lord that we can go forth in your name and we can say to the lost and the dying what I have I will give to you in the name of [60:37] Jesus their needs can be met oh Lord come upon us with your spirit and meet our need today we look to you and we ask this in the name of Jesus amen amen Thank you.
