[0:00] And hallelujah. Amen. Amen. This morning, I believe the Lord has directed me to speak of our inheritance.
[0:21] And there's a lot of things that we could, a lot of places we could go to, but I'm going to get a verse in Peter first, and then we'll, well, probably what I'd like to do is just read a few verses in various places, and then we'll turn to Romans.
[0:49] In 1 Peter chapter 1, it says here in verse 3 and 4, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
[1:15] To an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time.
[1:38] There's an inheritance for us as believers that is incorruptible and it is undefiled, it fadeth not away, and it's reserved in heaven for us.
[1:52] And this is what we want to look at this morning. You know, those of you that have received an inheritance here on this earth, what qualified you to receive that inheritance?
[2:10] Isn't it usually because you are a son or a daughter of some individual, and they passed on, and so you receive an inheritance.
[2:25] So unless you are a son or a daughter, you do not usually qualify for an inheritance, and it is the same way with this one.
[2:37] If you are a son of God, then you qualify for this. And John says, To as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God.
[3:01] In Romans it says that those that are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
[3:12] In 1 John, I want to read a few verses. In chapter 3, verse 1 to 3, Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God.
[3:30] Therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be.
[3:42] But we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
[3:57] Now are we called the sons of God. We are sons of God. If we've been born into this kingdom, if we have God as our Father, we are sons and daughters of his, and we have an inheritance.
[4:30] Galatians, we'll get a couple verses yet here. Galatians 4, verse 6, So that we might receive the adoption of sons.
[4:49] Verse 6, And because ye are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
[4:59] Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son. And if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. An heir of God through Christ.
[5:12] We have this living hope that we read about in Peter, which we have because of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus.
[5:28] In Ephesians 1, he says, We are sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance. The Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit is given to us as a down payment of the inheritance that we will receive someday.
[5:50] What is that inheritance? Well, we receive the Holy Spirit now as a down payment. So the Holy Spirit is a part of this inheritance.
[6:04] And it is the part that we receive here on this earth. Someday we will receive the fullness of our inheritance in heaven.
[6:15] We will receive a new body. We will be changed and receive a new body, a heavenly body. And we will live in that glorious body, in a glorious place that we cannot comprehend the fullness of in our mortal being, in our frail human mind that we are limited by today.
[6:47] But our inheritance, the Holy Ghost being the earnest of our inheritance, the kingdom of God, we are born into this kingdom.
[7:00] Yes. Now let's turn to Romans chapter 8. You know, as we think of an inheritance and you think of an earthly inheritance, what you will receive depends much on the wealth of the individual, right?
[7:25] It also depends on how many people are receiving this inheritance. You know, if you have to divide it by 12, it diminishes it quite a bit.
[7:37] But this inheritance, we divide it by millions and it's still beyond comprehension. It is not diluted because of that.
[7:49] There is plenty. There is plenty for everyone. So this inheritance, we enter into it, we receive it because of our sonship, because we are a son of God and we are born into this kingdom.
[8:13] You know, maybe, maybe we should just look at a couple verses in the Gospel of John in the first chapter. I quoted part of that verse, but there is another one that we should look at.
[8:35] Chapter 1, verse 12. Verse 11 says, He came to his own and his own received him not. And today, that is the difference between being a son and not being a son, is do you receive him?
[8:56] But he came to his own and they received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
[9:14] Even to us today who believe in the name of our Lord Jesus. Now he's talking about us, which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
[9:38] So today, being a son of God, there's only one way to become a son of God, and that is to be born of God.
[9:53] You know, my father's name here, my earthly father's name was Melvin, and the reason he was my father is because, because I, you know, the reason I am his son is I was born of him.
[10:10] He, you know, and if you will be a son of God, if you will receive this inheritance, you must be born of God, not of the flesh.
[10:23] Nicodemus asked that question, how can a man be born when he is old? But we're talking about a spiritual birth. We're talking about being born of the Spirit of God.
[10:38] Then we become a son of God. Now let's go to Romans and chapter 8, and I want to start here in verse 14.
[10:55] For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. You know, and earlier in this chapter he talks about the carnal mind and how the carnal mind is at enmity against God and it's not subject to the law of God.
[11:17] It can't be. You know, God does not work through that old man. He does not work through the carnal mind. The only mind, the only person that the Spirit of God can work through is the spiritual man, the man that is born of God.
[11:39] That is the only one that he can work through. So this spiritual man that we are, as we are born again, we have that new spiritual life in us.
[11:57] That man can be led by the Spirit of God. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but ye have received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
[12:21] Now, as we think of our sonship and being a son of God, you know, we're not a servant. Yes, we use that term and it's okay and we are servants of the living God and all of that.
[12:39] But we are more than a servant. We are a son. And so the privileges of sonship apply to us.
[12:51] What are those privileges? You know, there's a big difference in the natural. Now, I know we don't have slaves anymore here in this land, but think back in the days of slavery.
[13:11] How much difference was there between a son and a slave? You know, the slave, he was always told what to do and he served the family.
[13:24] He served, he did whatever the master told him to do. But a son, he had special privileges. Yes, the son may have been working in the field, he might have been doing whatever, but he had privileges that the slave did not have.
[13:44] We have not received the spirit of bondage, but the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
[13:57] We have access to the Father because we are a son, because we have the spirit of Jesus Christ within us.
[14:08] We have access to the Father. Yes, he is our Father. Let's continue reading here. The spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
[14:25] And if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
[14:39] For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in us.
[14:51] For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who has subjected the same in hope.
[15:08] Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
[15:19] For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption to wit the redemption of our body.
[15:44] For we are saved by hope, but hope that is seen is not hope. For what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we have, then do we with patience wait for it.
[16:04] So there he talks again of that living hope and the hope that we have. And what is that hope? He says here the redemption of our body.
[16:15] Someday we will have a new body and we will live in heaven. That is, that is the ultimate of our inheritance, I believe, is when that day comes and we leave this whole world and we receive the fullness of our inheritance.
[16:37] But today, are we living in the fullness of the portion that we have received? that is, that is a great question and, and, and, I believe that we fall so far short, we live so far below the potential that God has put within us by the power of the Spirit of God living in us.
[17:13] the Spirit within us bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
[17:27] In verse 17, if children, if you are a child of God, then you are an heir and you're a joined heir with Christ Jesus.
[17:40] Oh, hallelujah. you know, when we, when we start meditating on some of these things, it is more than what we can comprehend, is it not?
[17:57] Our inheritance, it is more than, yes, but we will attempt to look at this in a small way here today.
[18:08] Amen. here in verse 18, he says, I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared to the glory which shall be revealed in us.
[18:27] You know, if we can get a glimpse of the reality and of the greatness of the inheritance of what is waiting for us, I believe that whatever trials and tribulations we might go through here in this life, they will look so faint and so dim and so small because someday, someday we will enter into the glories of heaven.
[19:05] Jesus said he is preparing a place for us and if he's preparing a place for us, he will come again to receive us unto himself that where he is we may be also.
[19:22] You know, what great and awesome promises we have Jesus preparing a place for us.
[19:36] Yes, it will be unlike anything we've ever seen or dreamed of here on this earth. someday we will be delivered from the bondage of the corruption that is in this world.
[20:04] We will be delivered from it and we will enter into the glorious liberty of the other world. He says here, the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain until now.
[20:22] Not only they, but we ourselves also, us who are the first fruits of the Spirit. We groan in ourselves, you know, when we're going through a hard time.
[20:36] sometimes we groan and we're weighed down with the weight of this life and the trials and the things we're going through.
[20:50] We ourselves groan within ourselves waiting for the adoption to wit the redemption of our body. But someday it will be a reality.
[21:00] Someday, someday, you know, we have such a great hope before us. Let us not faint. Let us not be weary. Let us not faint by the way, but let us take courage and keep our eyes upon our Lord Jesus.
[21:18] It will be worth it all. It will be worth it all when we see Jesus. Hallelujah. Oh, yes, behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us that we should be called the sons of God.
[21:40] And someday we will see him. And when we see Jesus, we will be like him. Yes, we will be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
[21:56] Heirs of God and joined heirs, first fruits. the first fruits. What's he talking about?
[22:07] The Amplified brings out that it is the Holy Ghost is the first fruits. It is the down payment of our inheritance. It is a foretaste of the blissful things to come.
[22:23] a foretaste of the blissful things to come. Oh, hallelujah. Yes, you know, I'm going to turn to Hebrews chapter 6.
[22:39] And I know that the verses I want to read, they are given in a negative. But let's look at the positive of this.
[22:49] he's talking here about a man who has fallen away. Well, I'm going to read this and see the reality and the power that is ours.
[23:14] He begins this chapter, well, he ends in chapter 5 with, you know, those that are weak and they should be strong.
[23:29] And verse 14, strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
[23:41] And then he talks about leaving the principles and the basics of the gospel and going on unto perfection. And in verse 3, he says, this will we do if God permit.
[23:57] In verse 4, for it is impossible for those who were once enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost.
[24:08] Now, he's talking about a people that have received the earnest of their inheritance. And notice what he says here.
[24:20] If we have received the Holy Ghost, the fullness of the power of the Spirit that is available to us here on this earth, if we have received and we have tasted of the heavenly gift and we're made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and we've tasted the good word of God and the powers of the world to come, this is our inheritance, the earnest of our inheritance here on this earth.
[24:53] It is the part that we are receiving here. It is a foretaste of the powers of the heavenly world.
[25:05] That is what it is when we receive the fullness of the Holy Ghost. And he says, he warns us here that if such a one, if one that has walked, that has tasted of the fullness of the Holy Ghost and has been walking in it, if he should backslide and turn away and fall away, it says here, it is impossible for those that have experienced this, if they should fall away to renew them again unto repentance, seeing they crucified to themselves the Son of God afresh and put him to an open shame.
[25:49] But that's not our focus here today, but what I'm looking at is what this man is falling away from. That is what we can walk in if we will walk in the portion of our inheritance that we have received here on this earth.
[26:11] We have tasted the heavenly gift. You know, I believe that many people, they make this power of the Holy Ghost so cheap.
[26:25] And that is why they don't enter into the reality of the true Holy Ghost and His power and His gifts. But if we, as a Son of God, we receive the earnest of our inheritance, what it is, it is a heavenly gift, and we become partakers of that Spirit because He comes within us and He wants to live within us and lead us and guide us.
[27:00] It says, we have tasted the good Word of God and we have tasted of the powers of the world to come.
[27:10] We become partakers of the powers of the world to come. So I believe the earnest of the Spirit of God, the earnest of this inheritance that we receive when we receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
[27:26] It is a foretaste of the powers of the heavenly world, that world that we will someday inherit, that world that we will someday go to live in, the powers of the next world.
[27:45] Yes. Now, now let's go to Ephesians.
[28:01] Ephesians in chapter 1. Here's where that verse is in verse 14. Verse 13 says, in whom also, after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance, until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory.
[28:32] We have been purchased, and we've been washed by the blood, we've been born again by the Spirit of God, and we now, we receive the earnest of our inheritance, and we have this, this, the Holy Ghost, which is the earnest of our inheritance, we have Him until the redemption of the purchased possession, and then we enter into the fullness of our inheritance.
[29:06] Now, I want to read here, I believe we'll just start, just start at the beginning of this chapter, Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus, so he didn't just write this to Ephesus, but he wrote it to you today if you are included in this as one of the faithful in Christ Jesus, grace be to us and peace from our God and Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
[29:43] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.
[29:56] You know, and we read these verses, so many times I've read them, and you know, we just read over them, but let's look at it a little bit and see what he's saying here.
[30:10] He has blessed us with all spiritual blessings. Oh, hallelujah. What more can we ask for? According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love, having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.
[30:49] You know, and this all happens when we come into our Lord Jesus. When we believe in him, then we are brought into this inheritance.
[31:01] We are brought into this sonship when we believe in Jesus and we are brought into his kingdom. To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he has made us accepted in the beloved.
[31:19] We are accepted. How? We are accepted because we are in Jesus Christ. We are accepted in the beloved, in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace, wherein he has abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence.
[31:45] You know, and it just keeps multiplying here. We have redemption through his blood. We have forgiveness of our sins, and it's according to the riches of his grace.
[31:57] grace, and he has abounded toward us in wisdom and prudence. This is all part of it. It's all part of the new life. It is all part of our inheritance in the Holy Ghost.
[32:12] Christ, having made known unto us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he hath purposed in himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of times, he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth, even in him.
[32:39] God has chosen to bring all things together in Christ, under Christ, through Christ.
[32:53] Yes, all things which are in heaven and which are in earth, in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will.
[33:15] So we have obtained an inheritance by our Lord Jesus Christ into this kingdom, and God works all things after the counsel of his own will.
[33:32] You know, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. God's will will be accomplished.
[33:45] He says, who worketh all things after the counsel of his will. Yes, that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ, in whom ye also trusted, after ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation.
[34:08] We trusted in him when we heard the truth, when we heard the gospel, we trusted in Jesus, and we came to him, and believing in him, we were born of the spirit of God, and then now we, in whom also after that ye believed, after you believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance.
[34:40] Verse 15, wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers.
[34:56] You know, and we might look at another prayer that the Apostle Paul prayed, but what is so challenging, and he prayed such awesome prayers.
[35:10] Let's look at this. This is his prayer for the saints, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.
[35:34] That is his prayer, and we'll continue on, but just think of this. He is praying that the Father, that the Lord Jesus Christ, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would give to us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.
[35:56] You know, God is so great, and he is so, I mean, there's no way that we could even start to comprehend him unless his spirit brings to us wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God.
[36:20] The eyes of your understanding being enlightened, you know, and all of this, it is all that new creation, it's the spirit man, that new man that is within us, because that old man cannot comprehend anything of the spirit of God.
[36:44] But he continues praying that the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
[37:01] There's that word inheritance again, the hope of his calling and the riches of the glory of his inheritance, that we might comprehend this, that we might see it, that we might know it, that we might experience it.
[37:18] and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe. Oh my, can we begin to comprehend what he's saying here, the exceeding greatness of the power of God to usward who believe.
[37:41] You know, we read these things, we read these words, but can they become a reality in our heart? Can they become a revelation from the spirit of God in our hearts according to the working of his mighty power, the power of God, it wants to work in us.
[38:13] The spirit of God wants to dwell within us, he wants to work in us and through us to do his work according to the working of his mighty power which he wrought in Christ when he raised him from the dead and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.
[38:38] You know, he raised Christ from the dead and Romans tells us that the same spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead now dwells in us.
[38:51] Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah. Jesus is now set at the right hand of the Father in heaven, and he is far above all principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come, and he has put all things under his feet, and he gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.
[39:27] Our Lord Jesus, we are, we are his body here on this earth. He is the head of the church, and we are his body, and he is above all, he is above all.
[39:42] And in the next chapter it says that we are seated together with him in heavenly places. that is, that is our place, that is the place of the church, the church of Jesus Christ.
[39:57] We are above all. We can overcome. Why? If we, if we are, are, are in Christ, if we are abiding in Christ, we have the power, we have his power in us to overcome anything that comes our way.
[40:19] the exceeding greatness of his power to us word, to us word, who believe.
[40:32] Do we believe today? Do we believe in his power? Do we believe that his power dwells in us, and that he can change us, and that he can empower us, and he can use us?
[40:49] so many times, I believe, we allow ourselves to be limited to earthly means. he wants to live his life through us, and he wants to manifest his power through us, that the principalities and the powers will see and will know his awesome power and his great wisdom, the unsearchable riches of Christ.
[41:33] In chapter three, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, in verse seven, he, he, he, he gives, he, let's just read verse seven, whereof, he's talking about the gospel of Christ, whereof I was made a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
[42:19] You know, we look at the Apostle Paul, and he says here that the grace of God was given to him, and the gifts, God gave him gifts, and the gifts of grace were given to him, and says, by the effectual working of his power.
[42:53] When the spirit of God works through a man, it works effectually, efficiently, it works efficiently.
[43:05] The power of God wants to work through you. The spirit of God wants to work through you efficiently.
[43:20] Whatever the need that comes up, he wants to, he wants you to trust in him and to allow him to work through you to meet that need.
[43:38] Verse 8, unto me who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles.
[43:50] Notice this, the unsearchable riches of Christ. this morning we are looking at the unsearchable riches of Christ.
[44:03] You know, we're scratching the surface just a little bit, but we cannot, we can't realize the depth of it because it is unsearchable.
[44:15] It is more than we can comprehend. And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hidden God, who created all things by Jesus Christ, to the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.
[44:49] I believe I referred to this verse earlier, but God is using the church to show his power and his wisdom to the principalities and powers in heavenly places to show them his might and his wisdom and his power.
[45:14] Yes. Yes. verse 14, for this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his spirit in the inner man, that he, that God would grant us, according to the riches of his glory.
[45:48] Can you tell me what, what's the limit, what's the limit of his riches and glory? there's no limit.
[46:06] There's no limit that he would grant to us, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his spirit in the inner man.
[46:22] This is what he desires to do. It is the earnest of our inheritance. It is only the down payment of our inheritance is to be strengthened by his spirit in the inner man.
[46:41] That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height, to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.
[47:05] What an inheritance for us. This is just the beginning of it, is to be filled with all the fullness of God.
[47:16] Now to him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, and to him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.
[47:36] Amen. Oh, hallelujah. you. He is above all that we, he is able.
[47:51] You know, can we, can we just look at this verse for just a bit? He is able to do.
[48:03] You know, many times we ask the question, is God able? Is he able? Maybe we don't say it in words, but we live that way, do we not?
[48:19] But he is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. He's not just able to do what we ask.
[48:31] He's not just able to do more than we ask, but he is able, not just barely, but exceeding abundantly more, able to do more than we can even think.
[48:49] You know, we can think a lot of things, can we not? But our God is greater than all of that. He is greater than all of that.
[49:02] And he's only limited by our unbelief. You know, in Galatians, Paul was addressing them.
[49:25] Some were wanting to go back to the law. You know, today, we're not tempted with going back to the law, but we're always tempted to go back into the old.
[49:40] We're always tempted to go back and to live again in the strength of the old. And so I believe this verse applies in Galatians 4 verse 9, but now after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, you know, after we have made a start in this life, after we have begun to walk with Him, after we have tasted, after we have received the earnest of our inheritance, he says now, he says, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage, ye observe days and months and times and years, I am afraid of you, lest I bestowed upon you labor in vain.
[50:39] You know, have we, you know, and there's another verse here, he says, after you've begun in the Spirit, how have you turned back again? You know, God desires us to live in the power of His Spirit.
[50:57] It is only as we live in that Spirit that He can lead us. It is only as we walk in faith, and as we live in His presence and in His power, can He lead us and direct us and use us.
[51:18] I believe that it is our greatest temptation is to go back and to try to do the work of God in the power of the flesh.
[51:36] He calls it weak and beggarly elements. They're destined to fail. They can never, never, do the work of God.
[51:50] We can never do the work of God in the flesh. It must be by the power of the Spirit of God. God. Oh, the unsearchable riches of Christ.
[52:16] the unsearchable riches of our Lord Jesus.
[52:28] You know, I do have another verse in John. 16. There's a short portion here I want to look at John 16.
[52:51] Jesus told the disciples in verse 7, Nevertheless, I tell you the truth, it is expedient for you that I go away.
[53:01] for if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you, but if I depart, I will send him unto you. It is expedient.
[53:14] It was expedient. It needed to be. Jesus had to leave. Yes, he also needed to die to shed his blood for the ransom for us, but Jesus had to leave so he could send the comforter, the Holy Ghost, and when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment.
[53:44] Of sin, because they believe not on me, of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more, of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
[53:55] I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now, how be it, when he, the spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth.
[54:10] For he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak, and he will show you things to come.
[54:21] You know, here Jesus promised that the spirit of truth will come, and when he comes, he will guide us into all truth. In 1 John, he talks about how the spirit will teach us, and he will guide us, and he will teach us all things, and so on.
[54:43] So it is of the utmost importance that we walk with him in humility, that he can teach us, that he can teach us, he can teach us this word, he can bring, as we read this word, he can bring revelation, and make the word, bring the word alive to our hearts.
[55:12] Is he teaching you today? He will guide you into all truth, for he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak, and he will show you things to come.
[55:30] He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine.
[55:43] Therefore said I that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you. all things that the Father hath.
[55:58] Can someone describe to me the wealth of the Father today? Go ahead. Unsearchable, the unsearchable riches of Christ.
[56:16] Christ and the Spirit of God is the earnest of that inheritance, and he is here to teach us and to guide us into all truth.
[56:34] He is here to empower us for service. He is here that we can overcome the wicked one. He is here that we can be a witness to this world.
[56:48] He is here to use us in this world. And he says here, all things that the Father hath are mine.
[57:02] And because of this, because all the unsearchable riches of God belong to Jesus, because of that, Jesus said that the Holy Ghost will take of the things that belong to Jesus and show them, bring them unto us as we need them.
[57:28] What's that verse? I believe it's in Timothy or Titus, says that the man of God may be perfect, truly furnished unto all good works, unto every good work, whatever God would have us to do.
[57:46] We are, we can be completely furnished, well equipped, well equipped to, to do the work that he has called us to do.
[58:00] Yes, I believe when we, when we draw back, it's because of our own unbelief.
[58:19] Amen. Well, we've talked much about the earnest of our inheritance, now a couple verses yet in closing.
[58:43] In 1 Thessalonians 4, verse 15, for this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
[59:01] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout and with the voice of the archangel, with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
[59:14] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord, wherefore comfort one another with these words.
[59:29] someday this life will be over, and we will receive the fullness of our inheritance.
[59:42] yes, hallelujah.
[60:01] So shall we ever be with the Lord. Amen. Amen. let's pray. Lord, we thank you for your awesome provisions you've made for us.
[60:25] Lord, we thank you for such a great inheritance that you've prepared for us, that someday will be a reality for each one of us.
[60:42] If we've been born again and received that down payment, then someday we will receive the fullness of our inheritance.
[60:59] Lord, help us. Lord, that we will enter into the fullness of this down payment you've given us. Lord, that we will not be limited by those weak and beggarly elements of the world, of that old man, of the fleshly man.
[61:21] But Lord, that we will live in the power of the new man, that we will live in the power of the Holy Ghost. Lord, that you can work through us, in us and through us, your good pleasure, your mighty will.
[61:40] Lord, that you can use us as you desire. Lord, might each one of us say, here am I, send me.
[61:52] Might your will be done on earth as it is in heaven this day. we pray in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Thank you.
