[0:00] I greet you in the name of Jesus this morning. Hallelujah. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords.

[0:15] He is the head of the church. He is the Savior of the body. He is the one who we exalt today.

[0:33] The church will always be victorious. Though hell rise against the church, and it has, it has for a long time, our victory is in Christ.

[0:56] If the Lord Jesus Christ is in us, then we can be victorious. Then we are victorious. You know, it was read, there are several verses that were read this morning were probably in my notes, I think.

[1:15] But, you know, we read this verse that our adversary, the devil, as a roaring lion walketh about seeking whom he may devour.

[1:26] He's out there, he's seeking whom he may devour. But today, if we abide in Christ, then we can be victorious. And we have victory over the one who would devour us.

[1:41] We have victory over him. He's defeated by the blood of Jesus. He's defeated by the blood of Jesus. He's not defeated by our wisdom, by our smarts.

[1:52] But he's defeated by the Spirit of God within us. The Lord Jesus Christ within us will defeat the enemy and will give us the victory.

[2:03] I want to start, I believe, in Revelation chapter 12. And I know there's probably many different interpretations for this chapter.

[2:23] But today we want to look at it in the way that the Lord has given it to me for today. Here we have a war going on.

[2:40] We have a war and that dragon, it says he drew the third part of the stars of heaven. There's a third of the angels that followed Satan.

[2:54] And he was cast out of heaven. And then in verse 10, And I heard a loud voice sing in heaven, Now is come salvation and strength and the kingdom of our God and the power of his Christ.

[3:14] For the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And I'll notice verse 11, This is how we overcome the devil.

[3:40] And this is what I want to look at. Is they overcame him. How did they overcome him? By the word of their testimony. By the blood of the Lamb.

[3:52] And they loved not their lives unto the death. You know, we were already challenged this morning. Have we consecrated our life wholly, 100% unto our Lord Jesus Christ?

[4:04] Are we holding back something? You know, if we've given our all to him. And we're living for him. You know, there's many verses, but just thinking of the verses in Hebrews 11.

[4:24] Maybe I should just read a couple of those. But in Hebrews 11, you know, this chapter is known as the faith chapter. And many examples of men and women who stood firm and did not compromise.

[4:41] They did not compromise. And what held them? What helped them to stand? You know, in verse 13 here it says, These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and they embraced them.

[5:07] And they confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. They confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

[5:20] Are we a stranger and a pilgrim? Is this earth our home or is heaven our home? That is a big question for us today.

[5:34] And in verse, let's just continue reading. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

[5:46] And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

[5:57] But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly. Wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God.

[6:08] For he has prepared for them a city. They plainly say that we are strangers and pilgrims here, and we look for a city whose builder and maker is God.

[6:26] God himself preparing a place for his people. What is our vision? What is our vision?

[6:39] The things that we see, they are temporal. They will pass away. The unseen is the eternal. Are we living for what we can see? Are we living for today and the good of the land and the money we can make and the pleasure we can have?

[6:58] Are we living with eternity in our heart? For eternity. Every decision we make, made in the light of eternity.

[7:09] Knowing that we are eternal beings. And this life, this light affliction is but for a moment. Hallelujah. Oh, yes.

[7:22] Oh, yes. But we are in a battle. Let's go back to Revelation. And let's read this. At least part of it. Verse 12.

[7:33] Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea. For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

[7:49] He is here on this earth in great wrath, knowing that he hath but a short time.

[8:01] When the dragon saw that he was cast into the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man-child. And who is the man-child?

[8:11] Who is the dragon persecuting? The last verse in this chapter says, A dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed.

[8:24] And who is he talking about? Those which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Those are the ones that the dragon is wroth with.

[8:36] Those are the ones that he's making war against. And if you today, if you have the testimony of Jesus Christ in your heart, then you're among those who he is set against, and who he is making war against.

[8:55] Verse 15 says, A dragon cast out of his mouth water as a flood, after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

[9:06] You know, there is such a flood of filth out there in the world today. Filth and garbage and pornography and wickedness, perversion and all of those things rampant in our day.

[9:25] But the Bible says, When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against him. The Spirit of the Lord.

[9:36] How will the Spirit of the Lord do that? Well, he's not limited. But one way he does that is through his people.

[9:47] Through the people of God. Through the church of Jesus Christ. And so my question now is, Are you full of the Spirit of God? Does he have full control of your heart and life today?

[10:01] Does he? Can he work through you? Can he speak through you? Can he? Can you hear? Can you hear when he speaks?

[10:18] Romans, what is that verse in Romans 8? Let me just find it. Romans 8 says, Romans, as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

[10:33] Romans 8, 14. In the Gospel of John, it says, As many as received him, as many as received Jesus, to them gave he power to become the sons of God.

[10:48] Here in Romans, he says, As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. You know, there is many people that profess to be Christians, but they're not led by the Spirit of God.

[11:02] They have not submitted themselves to the righteous processes of God in such a way that he can work in their heart to bring them to the place that he can use them and he can lead them and make them effective in the kingdom of God.

[11:21] But that is his will. That is his desire. That's what he wants to do. Now, I want to go to Isaiah. Isaiah 59 and 60 for a little while.

[11:36] In Isaiah's day, there was great wickedness. And the description of it is a terrible description.

[11:47] It's a terrible documentary of his day, but it parallels our day today. In Isaiah 59, verse 1, he says, Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened that it cannot save, neither is ear heavy that it cannot hear.

[12:08] But your iniquities have separated between you and your God. Your sins have hid his face from you that he will not hear. Your hands are defiled with blood.

[12:20] Your fingers with iniquity. Your lips have spoken lies. Your tongues have muttered perverseness. None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth. They trust in vanity and they speak lies.

[12:33] They conceive mischief and bring iniquity. You know, isn't this a description of our day as well as his day? And we'll just skip on.

[12:45] We could read the whole chapter, but we won't. But here in verse 14, And judgment is turned away backward.

[12:58] Justice standeth afar off, for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Yea, truth faileth, and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey.

[13:12] And the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. You know, you know, these things, they displease our God.

[13:22] When truth is fallen, when truth is mocked at, when good is called evil, and evil is called good, our God, our God does not like that.

[13:34] It says, it displeased him that there was no judgment. And he saw that there was no man, and he wondered that there was no intercessor.

[13:49] You know, today God is looking for intercessors. He's looking for us to intercede. He's looking for us to stand in the gap.

[14:02] And we might, we might look at that later. But, but in Ephesians, where he talks about, about the armor of God, and then he goes on, and he says, praying always, with all prayer, and intercession.

[14:19] Prayer, prayer, prayer is so important. Prayer is our mighty weapon. It is our mighty weapon that God will use if, if we will, if we will do our part.

[14:36] James 5 says, the, the, the factual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Are we, are we righteous?

[14:47] Are we godly? And do we pray? Well, what is God's answer here? Well, he goes on, in verse, verse 19, he says, when the enemy shall come in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.

[15:10] And the redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression, and Jacob saith the Lord. Oh, hallelujah.

[15:21] As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord. My spirit, that is upon thee, and my words, which I put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and forever.

[15:42] Arise and shine, for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. Now notice verse 2, For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people, but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

[16:07] Notice, God's answer to the gross darkness and sin of this world. What is his answer? It is the Spirit of God coming upon his church.

[16:20] That is the answer that God gives to the darkness of this world. Gross darkness covers the people.

[16:33] Darkness covers the whole earth. But there is a light shining. There is a light. Are we that light? We are the light of the world.

[16:45] Are we shining? Are we allowing that light to shine? Are we allowing the Holy Ghost to empower us and to live through us his life, the life of Christ, that we can be effective in this dark world, that we can be victorious in this dark world?

[17:07] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh, yes. This light. This light. This light. This light. The light will arise upon us. The Lord will arise upon us and his glory will be seen upon thee.

[17:24] His glory on the church. What is that glory? It's the presence of the Holy Ghost upon each one of us. His glory is the Holy Ghost in the church and working through the church.

[17:40] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Yes. Gentiles shall come to thy light and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

[17:53] Lift up thine eyes round about and see all they gather themselves together. They come to thee. Thy sons shall come from far. Thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.

[18:05] Then thou shalt see and flow together. Thine heart shall fear and be enlarged because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee. The forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.

[18:18] You know, let us not limit what God can do through us. You know, we're just a small congregation, but let us be instruments in his hands.

[18:30] Let us be, let us allow him to take us and to use us in whatever way that he would desire. Oh, hallelujah.

[18:43] You know, there's, there's a verse that came to my mind. Let me see if I can find it. He says, anyway, he talks about being an instrument in the hands of God that he will take us and he will make us a new sharp instrument in his hand to do the work of God, to accomplish his will on this earth, to do the will of God.

[19:23] Oh, hallelujah. Yes. Well, in our day, the enemy has come in. He has come in like a flood and he's trying to carry away, to carry away, to wash away the church with false doctrine, to just sweep us off our feet.

[19:50] But let us remember, let us know that the foundation of God stands sure. It stands sure. It doesn't matter what comes our way.

[20:02] It doesn't matter what false doctrine hits. It doesn't matter how high are the waves. The foundation stands sure. Let us turn to Timothy.

[20:15] And we will just read those verses here. In 2 Timothy chapter 2. Verse 15. He says, Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

[20:35] Today, we have many people that are not rightly dividing the word of truth. But they pick out a verse here and they take it and they make it say something it was never meant to say.

[20:48] And then they pick up another verse somewhere else and they take it and they say what they want it to say. Instead of taking this word and taking the whole of this word and rightly dividing the word of truth, he admonishes us.

[21:04] to be approved of God and to study this word and to rightly divide this word of truth, to rightly interpret this word of truth, to allow the Holy Spirit within us to bring this word into our hearts.

[21:25] He says, Shun profane and vain babblings, they will increase to more ungodliness. And their word will eat as doeth a canker of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus, who concerning the truth have erred.

[21:39] So here they had false doctrine in their day. These two men, they were bringing false doctrine. They were saying that the resurrection is past already. And it was actually overthrowing the faith of some.

[21:54] Now verse 19, Nevertheless, the foundation of God standeth sure. Having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are his. And let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

[22:10] The Lord knows those that are his. He knows those that have given their all to him. He knows where you're at today. He knows whether you've just confessed a few of your sins or if you've laid down your life on the altar and said, Here I am.

[22:28] Take me. Take me and make of me what you desire. That is what he wants today. That's what he's after. He wants to fill us with the Holy Ghost.

[22:40] He wants to take us and make us a useful vessel in his hands. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah. What else does he say here?

[22:51] He continues on. In a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver but also of wood and of earth some the honor some the dishonor. If a man therefore purge himself from these he shall be a vessel unto honor sanctified and meet for the master's use and prepared unto every good work.

[23:15] If a man will purge himself from what? From the dishonorable from that which defiles from that which hinders from the things that are that are of no value to the church.

[23:32] Those things that hinder us from being 100% given over and following our Lord Jesus. Those things they must be laid aside like Hebrews says laying aside every weight and the sin which does so easily beset us.

[23:51] We just need to lay down our life on the altar and allow him to purge us and to cleanse us and set us free. Oh hallelujah. But he doesn't want to stop there.

[24:02] He wants to fill us with the Holy Ghost. And many people will say they have the Holy Ghost but I want to see fruit. I want to see you led by the Spirit of God.

[24:14] I want to see you growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. That's the beginning of being filled with the Holy Ghost is when when there's a growth and there you know he wants to lay that foundation in your life.

[24:33] A firm foundation and you know it takes some digging it's you got to dig down deep to lay a good foundation. He wants to remove all those things all those things of the old life all those things that hinder you from walking in the fullness of the Holy Ghost.

[24:55] He wants to remove all of that and he wants to lay that foundation deep deep in your heart. Flee also youthful lust but follow righteousness faith charity peace with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

[25:15] Out of a pure heart. You know the pure in heart they shall see God. You know do we have a pure heart? Are we hiding something?

[25:28] Are we allowing something that hinders? Are we allowing something that hinders the spirit of God in our heart?

[25:40] the foundation the foundation of God stand assured having this seal the Lord knoweth them that are his.

[25:53] You know there's no tricking him. He knows he knows if everything's on the altar or not. He knows whether you've laid it all down.

[26:07] He knows where we're at. Yes. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh, hallelujah.

[26:22] The blood of Jesus the blood of Jesus will cleanse us and set us free. The blood of Jesus will give us victory. The blood of Jesus it will it will it will if we allow it if we allow that blood to go through it will cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

[26:55] It will cleanse us from all hindrances. It will cleanse us and set us free. Oh, hallelujah. Verse 21 if we if a man therefore purge himself from these if we will separate ourselves from anything that contaminates if we will separate ourselves from anything that hinders if we will separate ourselves from from from human reasoning.

[27:34] You know that that old carnal mind it it reasons against God. It will ask well but what's wrong with it?

[27:46] After all there's nothing wrong with this. This is not sin for me to do this. But if the spirit of God lays his his hand upon that then it becomes sin.

[27:59] Yes it does. If we will cleanse ourselves if we will lay aside those things that hinder if we will purge ourselves from what does it say here from those things that bring dishonor from from you know we want to be a vessel of gold and of silver you know gold and silver it stands the test of fire the wood and the hay and the stubble it will burn up it won't stand that test the test of fire yes hallelujah let's go let's go let's

[29:02] Ephesians 6 we wrestle not against flesh and blood but we wrestle against principalities we wrestle against powers against the rulers of the darkness of this world against spiritual wickedness in high places darkness we read about the darkness that covers the earth we read about the gross darkness that it covers this whole world and we don't just wrestle against the darkness but you know the devil he sends the rulers he sends the higher ups of the kingdom of Satan he sends those against the church of Jesus Christ he sends those against the ones that carry the testimony of Jesus Christ remember that verse of

[30:04] Revelation he's here making war against those who have the testimony of Jesus Christ today that is you and me that is the church of Jesus Christ and if we are true to our Lord and we are truly bearing the testimony of Jesus we carry the name of Jesus everywhere we go then the devil is angry at us just like he was in the book of Acts you know they called in the apostles and they commanded them not to teach or preach in the name of Jesus why because that is where the power was it was in the name of Jesus I mean you can talk about you can talk about the gospel you can talk about anything you can talk about religion but if and if you leave out

[31:04] Jesus then you're not a threat to the enemy but as soon as you talk in the name of Jesus and you bring the blood of Jesus to people then you're a threat to the enemy and we are a threat to the enemy we are a threat to him and he comes against us but we must stand and we must stand firmly and we must be victorious over him he is defeated by the blood of Jesus he was defeated 2000 years ago but he's still out there trying to deceive humanity and trying to deceive the church of Jesus Christ and trying to hinder the church that's why it's a war Timothy talks about the war that we're in and being a good soldier of

[32:09] Jesus Christ you know the apostle Paul he knew what he was talking about he knew what he was talking about he was he probably suffered more than almost anyone else but God kept him through his lifetime he was even left for dead but God raised him up again he suffered many things but in the end the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and the church was victorious we need the whole armor of God having done all to stand stand therefore having your loins girt about with truth you know we we read about truth in

[33:09] Isaiah truth has fallen in the street truth is being mocked truth is being called evil and evil is being called good that's how it is in our day that's how it is but how is it with us our loins girt about with truth do we stand on the truth of the word of God do we allow this word to be the final authority in our life is it the final authority in our heart when questions arise can you go to the word and say oh yes well that that's what the word says and that's where I stand or do you try to explain it away you say oh well but it doesn't mean what it says it does mean what it says it says exactly what God said it made it to mean that's what the

[34:12] Holy Ghost wrote this word is truth this word is truth and we must have our loins girt about with truth the breastplate of righteousness have we allowed him to make us righteous have do you have the righteousness of Jesus Christ in your heart are you allowing your robe to be defiled your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace you know are we are we full of the Holy Ghost are we ready to take this gospel wherever he will ask us to go you know are we standing are we standing where God has put us above all taking the shield of faith wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked we have been talking about faith a lot but he says above all taking the shield of faith you know that faith how is your faith today does it when when those darts come does it waver does your faith waver or does it does that shield does it does it is it there can you hide behind that shield and those darts hit the shield or you know

[36:04] I read an example it's such a good one you know if if a soldier if he was too big say and just take this in the spiritual if we're if we're if we have too much of the of that old eye still then it sticks out outside the shield and those darts can hit us but if we're hidden in Christ if that eye is on the cross then we can be behind the shield of faith and it will quench every fiery dart of the enemy the helmet of salvation the sword of the spirit which is the word of God the helmet of salvation you know that helmet was on the head do you know do you know without a doubt that you're born again do you know without a doubt that you belong to him have you laid down all of your life have you allowed him to cleanse you and to set you free you know here in

[37:41] Ephesians chapter 5 verse 26 he says that he might sanctify with the washing of water by the word he wants to wash us by this word you know this word it's like soap and as you read it it will wash you it will wash us it will cleanse us you know we we walk through this dark world and we you know we might we might get contaminated but as we wash in the word we can be cleansed that the contamination of the world will not get a hold of us but it will be washed away Jesus came and he gave himself for us that he might sanctify us that he can set us apart set us apart to what to him and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness to cleanse us and set us free that he might present it to himself a glorious church not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing but it should be holy and without blemish that is his desire that is that is the church that he can use a holy church no spot no blemish completely surrendered to the

[39:24] Lord Jesus chapter 6 verse 18 praying praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints and then he asked prayer for himself you know do we realize the power of prayer we have our own selves we have very little power we have no spiritual power we can't of our own selves we can't stand of our own selves we can't be victorious of our own selves we we can't witness to anyone but as we are full of the Holy Ghost as we are full of the spirit of God then we can then we can be strong you know in chapter chapter 5 let's read a few verses here in Ephesians 5 in verse 14 he says awake thou that sleepest and arise from the dead and Christ shall give thee light see then that ye walk circumspectly not as fools but as wise redeeming the time because the days are evil wherefore be ye not unwise but understanding what the will of the

[41:07] Lord is and be not drunk with wine wherein is excess but be filled with the spirit be filled with the spirit that is how we will redeem the time that is how we will we will be effective in the kingdom of God that is how we will not be unwise like he says here don't be unwise but understand the will of the Lord and be filled with the spirit of God are we filled with the spirit of God you know in in Acts Acts 1 8 the promise was given the promise here was given let's just read that he said ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in

[42:10] Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth ye shall be witnesses you know when the power of the Holy Ghost is upon you and you can be a witness for his name you can carry like like revelation said you can carry the testimony of Jesus out to this dark world but you know I believe in my personal testimony is that when I gave when I surrendered my heart and life 100% to the Lord Jesus the first thing that he did was he gave me victory over self and over sin over the lust of the flesh and all those things he gives you victory not that it's never a battle but you can win that battle you don't have to give in you don't have to you don't have to fail you don't have to surrender to the enemy no but if if he is in you if his power is in you you can be victorious you know

[43:29] I couldn't find it then when I went back to look for it but here in my bible in the notes about victory it says that when Jesus is there wherever Jesus is there is victory victory you know if he's on the throne of your heart there is victory there's victory amen there's victory for the child of God there's victory for the Christian you know here it says that if we're when we receive that power we will be witnesses and let me just say you won't be a witness until you can live in victory you won't be an effective witness in the kingdom of God out in this world until you experience personal victory in your own heart and life and that victory comes by the power of the spirit of

[44:34] God hallelujah there's victory available yes in first Corinthians 10 here's a verse that I had to claim many times and if there's if there's a struggle in your heart you know you can commit everything to the Lord Jesus but that doesn't keep the enemy from coming against you that doesn't keep the enemy from bringing temptation but it's when you stand firm in the midst of trial that is when you come out as gold but in the midst of temptation what does it say here 1 Corinthians 10 verse 12 wherefore let him that thinketh he stand take heed lest he fall there hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man but God is faithful who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able but will with the temptation also make a way to escape that ye may be able to bear it wherefore my dearly beloved flee from idolatry just remember in the midst of temptation in the midst of sore trial in the midst of the attack of the enemy

[46:18] God has promised that there will always be a way of escape you don't have to give in to the enemy you don't have to surrender but you can stand there's always a way I mean if you need to call someone ask him for prayer tell him you're in the middle of a struggle you're in the middle of a great battle and you need help but there is a way and let's take that way let's find that way and let's be victorious hallelujah God is faithful you know it's all based on the faithfulness of our God and he has promised that he will always make a way for us to be victorious in the midst of whatever might come our way yes we earlier heard the first chapter of

[47:43] Ephesians about the exceeding greatness of his power to us who believe according to the working of his mighty power you know it doesn't depend on us it doesn't depend it doesn't depend on our strength but we depend on his strength we depend upon him you know and there's so much here there's so much here and later on in chapter 3 in verse 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith you know if we have been taken out of the kingdom of darkness and now we're in the kingdom of Jesus

[48:47] Christ and he is in our heart and we've allowed him to cleanse us and to set us free we've allowed him to fill us with his spirit you know Jesus said you know you give gifts to your children but how much more will the heavenly father give the holy spirit to them that ask him you know when we when we lay down our all before him he will fill us with his spirit if we will allow it if there's nothing if there's nothing hindering if there's nothing in the way if there's nothing that we're holding back that Christ may dwell in our hearts by faith rooted and grounded in love that we might know the love of Christ which passes knowledge that we might be filled filled with all the fullness of God filled with all the fullness of God you know we can't describe that in words he says here now to him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us

[50:31] Jesus our Lord he is able he is able to do exceeding abundantly above above what above all that we ask and even that we think he is able to do so much more the only hindrance is what our unbelief our pride our arrogance our self sufficiency our trusting in ourselves what stands in the way what stands in the way you know

[51:42] Romans here he was talking about Abraham in chapter four and he says in Romans four he says talking about God here well he's so he's talking about Abraham and he's referring to the God of Abraham maybe we'll just start reading here in verse 16 therefore it is a faith that it might be by grace you know you know faith faith eliminates law it is by faith if it's by faith then it's by grace then he's talking about

[52:44] Abraham and as it is written I have made thee a father of many nations in verse 17 before him whom he believed even God who quickeneth the dead and calleth those things which be not as though they were that's the God that we serve you know he doesn't need a big pile of materials to make something says here he calleth those things which be not as though they were you know we believe in this God by faith this God can do the miraculous now let's see what he says here now he's talking about Abraham who against hope believed in hope that he might become the father of many nations according to that which was spoken so shall thy seed be you know naturally speaking everything was beyond hope but Abraham still believed in God and being not weak in faith

[54:07] Abraham considered not his own body now dead when he was about a hundred years old neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb Abraham he considered not the natural he considered not the circumstances he considered not the things that were stacked against him he considered them not but he kept his focus on God Almighty and because of that it says he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief but he was strong in faith giving glory to God Abraham he kept his focus on God therefore he didn't stagger he didn't he didn't allow unbelief to come in he didn't allow human reasoning to come and say well Abraham come on just consider here

[55:16] I mean let's let's be reasonable here I mean you know this is impossible you know this can never happen you know and so the carnal mind goes on and on never ending bringing arguments against the word of God but Abraham he was strong in faith and he did not stagger at the promise of God and it says verse 21 in being fully persuaded that what God had promised he was able also to perform you know that is where God wants us to be he wants us not to waver in in the midst of trials in the midst of the impossible in the midst in the midst of a sore battle let us not waver but let us be strong let us be strong and therefore it was imputed to Abraham for righteousness amen and not to him only but to us also if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead yes oh hallelujah you know can we can we believe you know he will help us he will help us to believe if we will empty ourselves of all of self if we will empty ourselves of all the things that defile if we will empty ourselves of everything that argues against God if we will empty ourselves of all those things of all that we can do of ourselves we empty ourselves and we allow him hallelujah he can fill us with his spirit and when he fills us with his spirit then we have that faith that will move mountains we will have the faith that will see answers to prayer we will have the faith that that will that will bring defeat to the enemy we have the faith that will overcome come yes as we are full of the
